An antique Victorian 18k yellow gold Etruscan design diamond bar/ pin brooch. This antique Victorian brooch has a raised bead design to the centre with a sparkling diamond 0.15ct

Having a tubular hinge and thick C clasp closure this piece is in very good condition. As is often the case with genuine pieces of Victorian Jewellery this piece is unmarked,  However it has been fully tested by us and is guaranteed for gold and gemstone content.  A beautiful addition to any antique jewellery collection at a most reasonable price.

This lovely ornamentation with granulation work in flower and foliage detail is a wonderful representation of Etruscan revival a style which enjoyed a resurgence of popularity during the Victorian era.

Granulation in this case refers to the tiny side by side applied balls and thin strips of gold to create patterns and texture.
