An outstanding unheated 6 carat Burmese sapphire set in an 18k white gold diamond cluster ring.

This rare Burma sapphire has a striking blue colour with lively flashes of lighter blue visible from every angle.  The ring is accompanied by an independent gemmological certificate (GCS) verifying that the sapphire is of Burmese origin and has no indications of heat treatment.  This sapphire is one of the rarest and valuable types, with an incredibly rich and vibrant colour that must be seen to be appreciated.  The majority of stones mined in Burma are rubies, with fewer than 10% of the gemstones being sapphires, making them extremely rare and among the most coveted in the world.

Secured in an eight claw setting, the sapphire is surrounded by fourteen round brilliant cut diamonds with a combined carat weight of 1.4cts. These diamonds have a stunning sparkle and are beautifully bright to compliment this exceptionally rare gemstone.
