A beautiful Victorian diamond set ring in 18k gold.

This ring features an Old Mine Cut diamond, set in rich 18k gold surrounded by a star shaped pattern. The shoulders of the band feature elegant engraved details which catch the light beautifully. The old cut diamond weighs approximately 0.10cts, with the nice bright sparkle we love to see in an old diamond. This style of ring was a popular gift in Victorian times, as the star motif symbolised good luck and the diamond represented eternal love.

This is a wonderful old ring with clear Chester hallmarks for 1892, crafted in 18k gold and is in excellent condition.

The ring is currently size O 1/2 and is suitable for resizing if required.
