Unheated Ceylon Sapphire and Diamond Ring set in gold and platinum.
The ring features a beautiful cushion cut sapphire, weighing approximately 5 carats, with a stunning cornflour blue colour. The sapphire is bezel-set and surrounded by a border with a Greek-key design – exquisitely executed in platinum by a master of their goldsmithing craft. An outer line of diamonds contains 1.20 carats of high-quality, bright-white, old European-cut diamonds. These diamonds are set in scalloped bezel settings above possibly the most stunning under gallery we have ever had in stock.
This is a truly stunning, impressive, and sizable ring – the face of which measures 20.6mm x 17.6mm. The ring has French hallmarks for gold and platinum.
In ancient Greece, the Greek Key was a symbol for ‘infinity’ and the ‘eternal flow of things’ due to its pattern. Today, the Greek Key is known to symbolize ‘eternity’ and ‘unity’ because of the continuous line pattern.
