An antique swivel locket in 9k gold.

This locket is lovely and unusual, oval in shape with knot detail to the shoulders and bail. The locket swivels to the centre and has a nice flat profile, allowing for it to sit very well.  This example has a bright, polished finish and is hinged, with inserts to hold two images inside. This piece is fully hallmarked for 9k gold and was made in Birmingham in 1899!

The locket measures approximately 35mm in length including the decorative bail, by 20mm at its widest point, and is in superb condition condition.
