This is a classic signet ring, crafted in 18k yellow gold and set with a large oval bloodstone. This signet strikes a nice balance – substantial on the hand with a distinct look, while remaining a very wearable size for a ladies hand.  This example has beautifully detailed shoulders which taper at each side, and has crisp Birmingham hallmarks dating this ring to 1900!
