A very pretty antique sapphire and diamond ring in 18k gold.

This ring features a diamond to the centre, flanked by a round cut sapphire to each side. The sapphires have a lovely light blue colour and this ring looks bright on the finger. To each side is nice ridged detail to the 18k gold, with an engraved swirl to each shoulder.

This is a neat ring on the hand, with crisp Birmingham hallmarks to the inside of the band dating this ring to 1899! Along with the makers mark ‘W.J.H’, which may correspond to manufacturer William J. Holmes of Hockley Hill, Birmingham.
