An original Art Deco brooch set with 2.4 carats of emerald and over 10 carats of old cut diamonds all set in wonderful hand made platinum.

This Art Deco brooch is an incredible, unique piece and a super example of impressive Art Deco jewellery. The brooch’s 10 carats of old cut diamonds have that spectacular old world sparkle that we love to see, glittering at every angle.

The clasp of this piece is finely constructed, closing with a secure trombone closure.

This piece is constructed in platinum and is a stunning example in excellent condition, dating from circa 1920.

Gemstones- The two primary diamonds are old European cut diamonds, 1.5 and 1.8 carats each and the old Mine Cut diamonds to either side are 0.55ct each. The central cushion cut emerald is a beautiful rich green colour that really stands out in this piece and is 1.45cts.  The central row of gemstones are surrounded by a border of old cut diamonds set in a geometric rectangular form, each substantial and bright.
