Description
A beautiful Antique Edwardian serpent ring, crafted in 18k gold.
This is one of the nicest serpent rings we have seen in some time, with two coiled serpents entwined together. The snake’s heads are curved and smooth for comfortable wear, meeting at the front where.
Serpent jewellery was popular in Victorian and Edwardian times, after Prince Albert gifted the young Queen Victoria a serpent ring during their courtship. Two entwined snakes represent loyalty, friendship and eternal love.
The ring is crafted in 18ct gold and has nice weight with a substantial look on the hand. It is complete with crisp London hallmarks dating this ring to 1903.
The ring is size M 1/2.
