A beautiful vintage French emerald and diamond ring crafted in 18k gold.

This vintage piece features an oval cut emerald to the centre, with a rich green colour. The emerald is claw set in yellow gold – the colours contrasting very well together. To each side are a row of baguette diamonds set vertically, for a sleek and elegant look. The diamonds are channel set in a chunky gold setting, which curves at each side.

This ring looks and feels substantial on the hand, with the beautifully heavy construction (12.9 grams) we like to see in quality vintage pieces. The emerald is 1.5cts, the diamonds have combined carat weight of 1.2cts and the ring has French hallmarks dating this piece pre 1984.
