A statement vintage serpent necklace crafted in 9k gold.

This necklace has a flexible link design, which sits very well and allows for gentle flex while wearing. The beautifully curved edges of this piece allow it to sit comfortably at a collar length of approximately 15 inches. At the centre of this necklace is a serpents head and tail, set with two rich rubies as eyes and surrounded by engraved detail. The engraving to the serpent head and tail is beautifully neat, adding contrast in texture, finish, and realism to this piece.

The link of this necklace measures approximately 6.5mm in width, while the ridged detail adds nice contrast and catches the light very well. To the back is a secure box clasp and safety catch which blends seamlessly with the design of the piece. This necklace weighs a comfortable 37.5 grams and would be a wonderful addition to a jewellery lovers collection.

The piece has full Birmingham hallmarks for 9k gold, is stamped with makers mark ‘BJ’ and dates from the 1990s.
